Neurodiagnostic Tech-Supervisor

Assures effective and safe delivery of patient care

Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style

Qualification
Required
Either an Associate's degree or higher in health care or related field from an accredited college or university or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic (NDT) Program
Minimum of 3 years' experience performing Neurodiagnostic procedures
Registered through the Neurodiagnostic credentialing board, ABRET and in addition holds one of the following credentials in the Neurodiagnostic services overseen, which can include but not limited to R. EEG T., EP T., CLTM, R. NCS. T., CNIM
Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard
Strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability)
Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities
Preferred
5 years' experience performing Neurodiagnostic procedures in a patient care environment with 1 year supervisory / leadership experience
Certification In Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Certification in clinical area
