Responsibilities
Design of civil land development projects
Site planning and stormwater calculations
As needed, inspect construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering specifications
Qualification
Required
BS Degree in Civil Engineering
0-3 years of relevant land development experience with site grading, utilities, stormwater management design from the conceptual stage through final design
Preferred
EIT certificate is a plus
Site civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including hydrology modeling program, storm drainage programs is a plus but not required
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus but not required
Understanding of codes, regulations, and permitting requirements as related to the preparation of construction documents is a plus but not required
