Clinical Program Manager of Behavioral Health Crisis Center

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness and substance use disorders. The Clinical Program Manager will lead and oversee the Behavioral Health Crisis Center programs, ensuring effective operation and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Work in collaboration with the Crisis Management Team
Participates in the development, implementation and revision of the agency's strategic plan for the BHCC
Develops, implements and monitors the BHCC's clinical goals
Develops protocol necessary for efficient and effective overall operation of the BHCC
Participates on the Management Team and assigned committees of the agency
Provides consultation to agency staff or external sources as needed
Develops an effective working relationship with stakeholders, community, state and local officials, the general public, employees, peers and supervisor
Communicates effectively to assure desired outcomes and results
Provide competent personnel management and supervision including hiring, evaluating and taking corrective actions with BHCC staff
Provides departmental orientation and training
Supervises all crisis clinical staff to include setting performance expectations, monitoring progress, identifying staff development needs and addressing problems through regularly scheduled staff meetings and individual supervision
Approves staff work schedules, timesheets, leave requests and secondary employment requests
Works multiple shifts as required when staffing is low or wen there are unlicensed therapists on shift
Makes recommendations regarding departmental budget needs
Participates in the development and review of the agency's annual budget, monitoring BHCC budget on a continuous basis and makes necessary adjustments

Required

Leadership experience in behavioral health programs
Experience in crisis management and intervention
Knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders
Ability to develop and implement clinical goals and protocols
Experience in personnel management and supervision
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Experience in budget development and monitoring
Ability to provide training and orientation to staff
Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
