Founding GTM/Sales Lead

Responsibilities
Partner closely with founders to shape and execute the company’s go-to-market strategy, including ICP definition, messaging, and acquisition channels
Identify, prospect, and close net-new customers, owning the full sales cycle from first touch through close
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to source and pitch new business opportunities
Drive outbound to high-intent ICPs (startup founders, marketing & events teams, HR and operations leaders) through email, LinkedIn, calls, and in-person outreach
Develop and manage strategic brand, community, and partner relationships that generate new customer acquisition
Deliver tailored demos and tailored proposals based on customer objectives, budget, and delivery constraints
Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, and marketing to scope solutions and ensure smooth handoff post-close
Act as the voice of the customer, surfacing insights to inform product, pricing, and operational improvements
Consistently meet or exceed revenue and new-logo targets
Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking in HubSpot
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in a B2B sales experience (ideally with some startup experience)
Demonstrated success driving revenue through outbound prospecting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, consultative selling style
Highly proactive, curious, organized, and comfortable moving quickly in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excited to build from zero to one and work closely with founders to shape the GTM motion
Preferred
Marketplaces, B2B e-commerce, or supply-chain-driven businesses
Selling to startups, marketing, events, HR, or operations teams
Being an early sales hire or part of a founding GTM team
Cold outbound, including cold calling and event-driven prospecting
