Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and test electronic assemblies, components, and circuit boards
Perform manual soldering and rework with attention to IPC workmanship standards
Assemble and test electrical devices according to detailed instructions and quality guidelines
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Interpret and work from schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation
Complete administrative and reporting tasks accurately and on time
Maintain ESD protection protocols and a clean, organized workspace
Support other manufacturing and quality initiatives as assigned

Required

Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent technical training
3–5 years of hands-on experience as an electronics technician in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of analog and digital electronic circuitry
Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
Familiarity with crimping tools, testing procedures, and board-level repairs
Knowledge of Windows-based systems (Windows XP, 7, or later)
Working knowledge of IPC standards and ESD practices
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Visual acuity to distinguish fine circuit details, color variations, and tones
Must comply with ESD safety requirements in designated areas
