The System Engineer will serve as the senior systems specialist responsible for managing development, staging, and production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment, ensuring robust and secure system infrastructure for language training delivery.

Responsibilities

Configure and support domain system servers, SAN, NAS, and backup systems

Manage development, staging, and production systems in hybrid cloud/datacenter environment

Administer Microsoft O365, VMware vSphere, NSX-T, Windows Server, and Linux Red Hat

Manage SQL/MySQL databases, EMC SAN technologies, and Active Directory

Support AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services

Maintain and update system architecture and design documentation

Make recommendations for system modernization and expansion

May be required to travel (CONUS/OCONUS)

Required

BA/BS from accredited college/university with minimum 5 years experience OR AA/AS with minimum 7 years experience OR 9+ years experience serving as a system administrator

Requires one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP

Vendor Specific CE/OS Certification

Requires the following technical skills: Microsoft O365, VMWare, Vsphere and NSX-T, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, Active Directory, AWS or Microsoft Azure

Deep technical knowledge in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, storage technologies, cloud computing platforms, and security best practices

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to diagnose complex technical issues

Experience maintaining high availability hybrid data centers

Secret level security clearance
