Sales and Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

Expand and maintain relationships with existing clients while securing new business opportunities
Build relationships with key industry players, including wholesale distributors, retail chains, and large fleet operators, managing ~$200M book of business
Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of inside and outside sales representatives and account managers to exceed sales targets through coaching and sales training
Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with business goals and sales targets
Identify new markets, distribution channels, and partnership opportunities to grow market share
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to strengthen brand presence and attract new business
Work closely with the VP of Sales & Distribution to align sales initiatives with marketing strategies
Collaborate with engineering, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure sales efforts match operational capabilities
Provide market insights and customer feedback to support continuous product improvement and innovation

Required

7+ years of experience in B2B sales and business development, with at least three years in a leadership role
Track record managing and developing a high-performing sales team
Proven ability to close high-value deals and manage long-term customer relationships
Ability to identify market trends, develop expansion strategies, and drive revenue growth
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an established network in the industry
Highly motivated, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets
