Garment Specialist PD

Responsibilities
In collaboration with technical design, support product fit evaluations and feedback in new product development and sourcing version redevelopment processes; this includes supporting fit sessions and providing documentation of feedback to vendors, from initial proto to PPSS
Collaborate with tech design to locate necessary samples, documents, and patterns pertaining to SVRF process workstreams
Provide effective guidance and act as a partner to design & materials on product construction and fit during development process
Be a liaison and driver for quality assurance testing requests by the QA team conducted as part of field day
Be a subject matter expert in conducting and supporting wear tests for Jockey across all product categories
Conduct garment measurements with accuracy and precision based on Jockey’s guidelines and practices to support development and SVRF process needs
Provide vital documentation updates in PLM to support new and SVRF product processes
Be a liaison to effectively communicate with third party vendors across the supply chain on construction and fit requests
Support special projects and initiatives upon request
Collaborate with the raw materials team to understand material performance linked to fit
Assist with development of product, process and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and requirements
Other job duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of experience in product development and fit
Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant work experience in Apparel/Textile Design, Apparel/Textile Development, or related field
Experience in fit, garment construction, and product development execution is essential
Ability to work on multiple programs and have effective time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Business knowledge, acumen and experience in working with global teams
Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential
Experience with PLM and patternmaking
Knowledge in both men's and women's products
Travel <25% (includes international travel) – role is primarily focused in Kenosha but may require periodic travel to support key initiatives
Requires flexibility in calls/hours to support global collaboration
