The Manufacturing Engineering Technician plays a key support role within the Manufacturing Engineering team, working closely with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production processes.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers on new product introductions, process improvement projects, and equipment upgrades
Use a hands-on approach with production teams and the Product Engineering team to develop, maintain, and update digital work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and attribute sheets to reflect current best practices
Conduct capacity studies and time-motion analyses to identify bottlenecks, calculate cycle times, and recommend resource adjustments
Assist with tooling and fixture design verification, equipment qualification, and validation testing
Participate in safety and quality audits, documenting findings and helping implement remediation plans
Facilitate communication between engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to ensure alignment on process changes and project timelines
Support training efforts by delivering clear work instructions and hands-on guidance to operators and technicians
Contribute to departmental efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Create a positive work environment for team members. Treat all team members with respect
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent required
Technical or manufacturing experience required
Ability to have multiple projects in progress at the same time and prioritize workload
Highly proficient in MS Office Suite
Analytical mind. Must have strong attention to detail skills
Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills. Ability to convey ideas and programs; work in cross-department teams
Ability to handle and organize multiple priorities
Self-starter with a 'solutions' mindset
Ability to promote and live ETE Values on a daily basis. Willingness to learn
Preferred
Engineering education experience preferred
