International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Governance Manager to support our Research & Data organization by developing, implementing and monitoring an organization's governance framework. The role involves ensuring compliance with relevant business rules, facilitating governance bodies, and managing stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining governance policies, standards and procedures

Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of the governance framework

Providing guidance and training on governance matters to staff and leaders

Ensuring compliance with relevant Research and Data business rules, design and delivery standards

Identifying and assessing governance-related risks

Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies

Providing support to the various committees

Assisting in the preparation of committee meetings and deliverables

Facilitating governance committee meetings

Driving and monitoring the implementation of committee decisions

Engaging with stakeholders on governance matters

Promoting transparency and accountability

Managing relationships with governance bodies and stakeholders

Required

6+ years of relevant technical experience

Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and best practices

Committee facilitation experience required

Experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks required

Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence without authority as well as support cross-functional decision making

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

Relevant technology market intelligence and data industry experience preferred

A relevant professional qualification (e.g., ICSA, or a qualification in risk management or compliance)

Prior consulting experience preferred
