Audacy, Inc. is a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company seeking a passionate On-Air Personality to join their Detroit team. The role involves hosting air shifts, engaging with fans, creating content for social media, and ensuring compliance with FCC regulations.

Responsibilities

Host weekend/fill-in air shifts

Engage with fans at events, sales appearances and remote broadcasts

Create content for station socials, focusing on both alternative music and Detroit

Protect the station’s FCC license

Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift

Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly

Other duties as required by management

Required

Must have a thorough understanding of the alternative format, audience and lifestyle

Must be an excellent communicator and collaborator with a strong work ethic

Must have a working knowledge of the equipment and technical systems necessary for on-air execution, including automation systems such as Wide Orbit

Must have knowledge of FCC rules and regulations

A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicants own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required

Preferred

Experience with on-air and/or digital content creation preferred

Familiarity with the Detroit local music scene and concert venues a plus
