Project Financial Analyst

J&J Worldwide Services is seeking a Project Financial Analyst to support a strategic business operation. The successful candidate will analyze financial data to assist in project cost and schedule status, providing financial decision support to stakeholders and ensuring project setup meets reporting needs.

Responsibilities

Ensure project setup within JAMIS meets the need of both the company and the contract's reporting needs
Provide financial decision support to stakeholders focused on minimizing risk and maximizing return of limited resources
Assist in development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Monthly financial reviews such as: PSRs, Transactional Details, and Proactively work with Program Management in supporting the programs’ financial performance and requirements
Monthly/Quarterly rolling forecasts
EAC Prep and ongoing maintenance (working with Ops)
Financial Analysis such as: Tracking, monitoring, and analyzing cost performance on programs
Must understand purpose of segregation of costs into CLINs and cost elements
Financial monthly close experience (program focused) for Labor Accruals, Sub Accruals, Other Vendor Accruals, and Revenue Recognition
Weekly/Monthly Cost Review to provide weekly and monthly reporting to Operations. Prepare and lead monthly financial operations reviews
Knowledge of Indirect Pool Structures, including, but not limited to PMO rates, Fringe rates, Overhead rates, and G&A rates

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred but not required
3+ years of program finance/related experience, 6+ years can substitute degree
Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting forecasting
MS Excel experience required
Experience with GovCon ERP's and project structures
Ability to understand Government contracts, with experience in FFP, Cost Reimbursable, T&M type contracts
Strong written and verbal communication

Preferred

Construction, BOS and O&M knowledge in a plus
