Solvere Technical Group is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join the team. The role involves leading the verification and validation of electronics gear installed and operating onboard Navy vessels, ensuring that products and processes meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Senior Team lead for verification and validation of electronics gear installed and operating onboard Navy vessels

To include navigation, communication, and computer hardware and software

Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards

Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely

Candidate shall be able to interpret plans and drawings and contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens

Shall have experience in computer aided drafting (CAD), ability to prepare shop drawings for model construction, and be familiar with material specifications and fabrication methods

Required

High School diploma or GED, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate or equivalent

Three (3) years professional experience solving technical problems

Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance

Possess a practical understanding of engineering concepts

Ensures that the product/service and process meet quality and safety standards

Experience includes testing equipment to make sure that the process operates effectively and safely

T/S SCI

Preferred

Three (3) years of hands-on experience with US Navy Navigation equipment and systems, to include one (1) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training
