Education
Responsibilities
Perform PCR-based assays on samples of animal origin
Develop or transfer PCR-based assays to detect animal pathogens
Perform serologic and microbiologic tests on animal-origin samples
Participate in the laboratory's quality system, including completion of necessary proficiency tests
Qualification
Required
An Associate degree of science in a biology-related field OR two years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work in a team environment
Capacity to learn/master new techniques
