Responsibilities

Assist the Engineer of Record in preparing mechanical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates to meet project requirements

Provide technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work

Provide technical training and development of staff

Assist in establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications

Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates

Coordinate with all the disciplines involved, including outside consultants

Technical interface with code officials and contractors
