Responsibilities
Invests a group of accounts following the strategy direction of portfolio managers
Addresses all client requests; including cash flows, tax trades, and guidelines
Supports Portfolio Management on their strategies via reports, scans, and monitoring
Completes increasing number and complexity of research assignments and demonstrate a good grasp of basic, fact-based research skills
Completes company reviews, financial modeling, and portfolio analysis
Maintains a solid understanding of Calamos products and securities processing; maintains a knowledge of investment models and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required in business, finance or other related area
0-2 years of relevant work experience
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Good research skills with the ability to compile and analyze data
Interest in and a solid knowledge about the markets and the industry
PC skills in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel with the ability to learn new programs quickly
Preferred
Work towards an MBA or Master's in Finance preferred
CFA candidate preferred
