Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites from concept to deployment
Customize existing WordPress themes and develop bespoke themes to meet specific client requirements
Create responsive, mobile-first designs that provide optimal user experience across all devices
Implement advanced WordPress functionality through custom plugins, shortcodes, and custom post types
Integrate third-party services using REST APIs and webhooks
Build and maintain custom dashboards or headless WordPress setups when needed
Optimize websites for performance, scalability, security, and SEO best practices
Manage and optimize database queries for high-traffic WordPress environments
Troubleshoot and resolve website technical issues including plugin conflicts, server errors, or code-level bugs
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and marketing teams to turn design and content into functional websites
Maintain documentation for custom builds and development workflows
Undergo comprehensive training to master the GoHighLevel platform and ecosystem
Develop custom solutions within the GoHighLevel environment
Create and implement workflows and automation sequences for client businesses
Integrate GoHighLevel with other platforms and APIs as needed
Customize GoHighLevel interfaces to align with client branding
Build seamless connections between WordPress sites and GoHighLevel
Implement tracking, analytics, and reporting solutions
Develop custom applications that enhance platform capabilities
Create documentation for implemented solutions
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
Strong proficiency in WordPress theme customization and development
Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party custom integrations
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, particularly React.js
Familiarity with backend development principles and working with custom databases or headless CMS
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development
Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms quickly
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with marketing automation platforms GoHighLevel (any CRM/automation too Like Make.com/Zapier/N8N)
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
Experience with workflow automation tools
Familiarity with AI-powered solutions for business
Understanding of sales funnels and marketing workflows
Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)
Background in UI/UX design principles
