As an Emissions Technician, you will assist in maintaining compliance with air emissions laws by performing emissions tests and supporting engine performance diagnostics.

Responsibilities
Performs periodic emissions tests. Responsible for following the testing schedule set forth by the Regulatory Department
Coordinates with customers regarding compliance emissions tests performed by third party testers. Assists with the test as appropriate
Diagnoses engine conditions and adjust and/or repair as necessary to achieve satisfactory performance both during and between emissions tests
Maintains testing equipment including calibrations and maintenance; includes maintaining sufficient calibration gasses
Trains other team members regarding engine adjustment and performance. Assists service technicians
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general degree (GED)
Minimum of three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Natural gas engine Compressor Service experience
Experience with modern engines and compressors used in the natural gas industry
The ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Basic math skills
Excellent problem-solving and reasoning abilities
