Responsibilities
Serve as lead structural engineer for transportation structures
Perform structural modeling of structures (frame analysis, FEM, etc.)
Develop plan details & coordinate plan details with drafting technicians
Oversee and review structural design/analysis/detailing performed by junior engineers
Prepare design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
Provide construction support, including performing field investigation/inspection and resolving field issues
Prepare field inspection reports as needed
Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
Attend client meetings
Assist in marketing transportation projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
10 to 15 years of industry experience
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Florida or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hire
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
Availability and willingness to travel
