The intern will provide administrative support, manage various projects, and assist with financial processes including accounts payable and tax documentation.

Responsibilities
Completes a variety of activities as it relates to accounts payable and the financial statement close process
Performs general ledger reconciliations
Assists with the preparation of the Company’s income tax workpapers and prepares supporting documentation for the annual tax return filings
Assists with the tracking and filing of mutual fund returns and various mutual fund compliance tasks
Provides support for various tax projects
Performs analytical review of financial data
Identifies ways to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the department
Participates in special projects as assigned by management
Performs related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled (as a rising junior or senior) in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or MBA program
Evidence of challenging curriculum and a minimum 3.0 GPA
Must be detail oriented with the ability to interpret a variety of data
Demonstrated interest within the investment management industry is preferred
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
