Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day administration of the Workday HCM platform, including security, roles, business process configuration, and data management
Configure and maintain core HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, and Performance
Develop and implement Workday business processes, calculated fields, condition rules, and EIB integrations
Maintain data accuracy through audits, validations, and proactive system monitoring
Serve as the primary architect for Workday-related projects and enhancements, aligning solutions with business goals and technical standards
Translate HR and business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Lead the design and implementation of new modules, functionality, and system integrations (Workday to downstream systems such as Payroll, Finance, or third-party vendors)
Evaluate and recommend system improvements, upgrades, and innovations to optimize user experience and process efficiency
Establish and maintain Workday governance, documentation, and change management processes
Manage Workday releases and ensure timely testing, communication, and adoption of new features
Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
Maintain system security, user access controls, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Act as a strategic advisor to HR leadership on Workday capabilities and process optimization
Provide training, support, and mentorship to HR and technical team members on Workday functionality
Lead cross-functional projects and serve as the liaison between HR, IT, and external Workday consultants

Required

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (master's preferred)
5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including system administration, configuration, and architecture
Proven experience designing and implementing Workday solutions across multiple HCM modules
Deep understanding of Workday data model, business processes, and security framework
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Experience with integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, API) and report writing (Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Workday certification(s) in HCM Core, Reporting, Security, or Integration are highly preferred
Experience with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics
Prior experience in global or multi-entity Workday environments
Active role in Workday implementation within the last 5 years strongly preferred
