Associate Director of Sales: Senior Life Plan Community
The Kendal Corporation is a full-service life plan community serving older adults in the Quaker tradition. The Associate Director of Sales will drive and maintain full occupancy by developing and executing sales strategies, managing the admissions process, and building relationships with prospective residents.

Responsibilities
Overseeing the sales team and ensure a seamless transition for new residents
Creating and implementing approved sales plans and strategy to achieve maximum independent living and assisted living occupancy
Coaching and managing the Sales team to reach and maintain full occupancy
Filling vacancies promptly; managing and maintaining a healthy waitlist
Building and nurturing Priority membership and Ready List for future occupancy
Conducting admissions interviews and guiding new residents through the application and admissions process, demonstrating expertise in contract review and all contract types
Supporting all efforts that available inventory is in show-ready condition and is regularly checked in preparation for prospect viewing
Collaborating with Associate Director of Marketing with planning for board Marketing Advisory Committee meetings
Collaborating with Associate Director of Marketing to assure budget needs for Try It visits, prospect meals, and communications with prospective residents
Participating in the day-to-day operations of the team and office environment, creating and maintaining a team approach to the sales function
Utilizing CRM (customer relations management) software to insure complete and timely data entry for facilitation of prospect follow-up and the generation of mailings, and meaningful reports for ongoing sales and marketing analysis and planning
Submitting regular accurate reporting by assembling, compiling and analyzing data
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience in sales within the senior living industry required
Strong organizational, interviewing and communication skills
Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM Software (Salesforce)
Self-starter, team player and passionate about serving older adults
Professional appearance and demeanor required
Good speaking and writing skills
Must be able to work 40 hours per week with occasional additional hours as necessary to meet all areas of responsibility, including occasional evening and weekend hours
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
