Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes
Understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e: lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.) and Ability to understand current production flow and product specifications
Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e: Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.)
Remove any defects from the produce that are undesirable in the finished product
Must execute de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing based on product specifications
Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment
Validate that printed labels accurately reflect production work orders
Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
Maintain an uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods
Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control development specifications
Operate shrink wrap machine (manual/automated) and Operate a hand pallet jack, Manual palletization of finished goods and Manually pack finished goods
Communicate verbally & in writing
Maintain a clean work area
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of GMP's, Safety Guidelines and HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes
Reading, Writing, Speaking English Preferred
Willingness to work in a cold environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Able to work a flexible schedule & Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to understand plant KPI's (production, quality & safety)
Ability to be cross trained & multitask in multiple positions
Preferred
GED/High School Diploma Preferred
