Low Current Systems Engineer

CH Design Studio is seeking a Low Current Systems Engineer to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of low-current systems within data centers. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the systems operate safely and comply with relevant standards.

Design Services

Responsibilities

Participate in the design and technology selection of low-current (weak current) systems for the data center
Responsible for the design, implementation, and acceptance of structured cabling systems (copper/fiber)
Deploy and maintain security systems (video surveillance, access control, intrusion alarms, etc.)
Integrate BMS/DCIM/security systems to achieve unified monitoring and management
Coordinate with construction units to complete equipment installation, commissioning, and system integration testing
Prepare technical solutions, construction drawings, and testing and acceptance documents
Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize system performance
Ensure the system complies with relevant data center specifications, standards, and security requirements
Work with the project manager to achieve progress, quality, and risk control
Support technical delivery and operation and maintenance handover after the data center is put into operation

Required

Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or related majors
Associate's degree or above (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Familiar with low-voltage/low-current system architecture and construction specifications
Understand data center tiers and design standards (e.g., Tier III/IV concepts)
Master basic network knowledge (TCP/IP, switches, fiber optics)
Able to read and draw low-voltage system diagrams and construction drawings (AutoCAD, etc.)
Familiar with common security and intelligent equipment
Has basic system integration and commissioning experience
Excellent cross-disciplinary communication and coordination skills
Strong problem analysis and on-site problem-solving abilities
Strong sense of responsibility, able to adapt to project-based and on-site work
Good document preparation and standardization awareness

Preferred

2–5 years Experience in low-current/low-voltage system engineering
Experience in data center, server room, or large-scale intelligent building projects
Experience in system integration, commissioning, or maintenance support projects
Low-voltage/intelligent building related professional qualification certificates
Network or security vendor certifications (e.g., CCTV, access control systems)
Data center or server room related training certificates (bonus points)
