Sales Director
IDC is a respected global technology market research firm seeking a driven and client-focused Sales Director to support and grow their strategic relationship with Dell. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for Dell, ensuring exceptional service delivery, collaborating with research and product teams, and managing business opportunities.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Dell account across all IDC product lines
Deliver an exceptional, proactive customer experience to Dell every day, ensuring high satisfaction and engagement
Develop, manage, and expand a robust pipeline of Dell initiatives to maintain and grow the existing revenue base
Deeply understand Dell’s strategic priorities, needs, and challenges, and align them with the most relevant IDC research, data, and advisory solutions
Prepare tailored proposals, lead high-impact presentations for Dell stakeholders, and negotiate contract terms that support mutual success
Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and program leads across Dell’s global organization
Consistently meet or exceed account-specific sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics tied to the Dell partnership
Maintain detailed documentation of all account activity and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene in Salesforce
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development --preferably in market research or IT services
Bachelor degree or equivalent industry experience
Strong understanding of the IT industry, including enterprise technologies, software, hardware, cloud computing, cybersecurity, digital transformation and of course AI
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize effectively
Strong communication skills
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Experience using CRM platforms and sales enablement tools
