Start in 2026 Summer1st Source Bank is seeking an Intern to work as a member of the Credit Team during the Summer 2026. The role involves learning about Commercial Lending and assisting with various credit-related tasks and projects.

Responsibilities
Learn the basics of Commercial Lending/Credit Underwriting
Assist with obtaining credit information
Perform credit file maintenance, request/review financial information, and complete additional research as required
Assist with performing periodic financial review of current customers
Attend Credit Committees as an observer to learn about the credit approval process
Complete assigned reports and/or projects by management by identified deadline
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position
Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
Pursuing a career in banking
Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word) is essential
Good organizational skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Able to prioritize workload and manage multiple competing tasks and demands
Ability to meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
