RF Test Intern

MACOM is a leading designer and manufacturer of semiconductor products for various applications. The RF Test Intern will assist in testing and characterizing RF sample boards, gaining hands-on experience with RF hardware and test equipment, while supporting troubleshooting efforts and maintaining lab organization.

Responsibilities

Assist in the testing and characterization of RF sample boards
Gain hands-on experience working with RF hardware and test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, multimeters and oscilloscopes
Set up and execute RF board tests
Collect and analyze performance data
Document results
Support troubleshooting efforts
Help maintain lab organization
Collaborate with engineers to refine test procedures
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing workflows
Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
Attend networking/social events
Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
Receive formal, written feedback

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's in electrical engineering or equivalent
