They are seeking a Marina Front Desk team member responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and providing on-site customer service for marina and hotel guests.
Responsibilities
Guest facing position that is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests
Answers phones, responds to emails and guest needs during their stay
Makes reservations for marina guests
Provides on-site customer service for residence, club members and transient marina guests as well as hotel guests
Checks guests into or out of the marina, assigning slips according to availability or sizes of vessels (length, beam, and draft) needs
Coordinates with dock attendants, parking and transportation, fuel attendants, and grounds team
Processes payments, provides receipts to customers
Coordinates and upsells fuel, waste removal, hotel amenities, and on-site restaurants
Answers questions about the property or the surrounding area attractions
Opens and closes the marina office
Reconciles fuel, funds and cash on a daily basis
Reports fuel spills and respond to state for property documentation and tracking, attends annual fuel spill training
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple demands
Excellent verbal communication skills
High degree of professionalism
Must have a valid Florida driver's license and be eligible for coverage through a company's automobile insurance
Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above
Must be physically able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to communicate in English effectively with other individuals
Must be able to maintain good relations with employees, supervisors and the public
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
