Clinica Family Health & Wellness is a community integrated healthcare organization seeking a Payroll Director to lead their full-cycle payroll operations. The role involves overseeing payroll accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while serving as the subject matter expert for the UKG Payroll/HRMS system.

Responsibilities

Lead our full-cycle payroll operations

Oversee the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of all payroll processes

Serve as the subject matter expert for our UKG Payroll/HRMS system

Assess workflows, address system and coding issues, and build scalable processes

Translate technical payroll and compliance details into clear, practical guidance for managers and staff

Manage payroll in a healthcare environment, with shift differentials, on-call pay, and provider compensation structures

Run payroll in a union environment

Stay updated on current payroll laws and regulations, especially those affecting healthcare and/or 24/7 operations

Build cross-functional relationships with HR, Finance and Operations to ensure effective communication

Build and manage KPIs to track payroll accuracy and efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field

Seven (7+) years' experience in a payroll role, including experience in system configuration

Two (2+) years' experience with UKG Pro & Workforce Management with prior experience in system configuration or optimization

Four (4+) years leadership and management experience
