Responsibilities
Oversee general accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting
Act as ERP (Epicor) super-user and provide training to staff
Liaise with internal and external accounting teams to ensure consistency in reporting and reconciliations
Support budget and forecasting activities
Lead year-end audit preparation and ensure compliance with all banking and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement new procedures to enhance workflow and efficiency
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, handling personnel issues as needed
Provide financial perspective for capital projects and cost control initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of experience in an accounting environment, preferably in manufacturing
Prior supervisory experience in financial reporting/general ledger
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
ERP (Epicor) experience highly preferred
Cost accounting expertise
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
US CITIZENSHIP OR GREENCARD REQUIRED
