New Grad, Entry LevelCirrusLabs is seeking a high-potential Java Developer – Rising Star to join their growing technology team in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world applications, gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise-level systems.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities
Collaborate with senior developers, product managers, and QA teams
Learn and apply best practices in software development and system design
Contribute ideas and solutions during team discussions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Strong foundation in Java and object-oriented programming concepts
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases (SQL)
Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot is a plus
Good knowledge of REST APIs and basic web technologies
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn
Preferred
Internship, academic projects, or personal projects in Java
Exposure to Git, Maven/Gradle, Agile/Scrum environments
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Experience with unit testing or automation tools
