Administrative Professional - Temporary - VOA High School
Volunteers of America Minnesota and Wisconsin is a nonprofit health and human services organization, and they are seeking an Administrative Professional / Program Specialist to oversee and manage non-academic, operational functions of Volunteers of America High School. This temporary position involves managing building operations, food and nutrition services, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities
Manage existing building contracts for repeating services by scheduling work, reviewing work and maintaining ongoing communication with vendors
Engage new vendors when required and secure and schedule additional services as needed
Maintain current building licenses and training compliance for all aspects of school operations
Coordinate regular maintenance and manage time and budget of maintenance contractor
Oversee the maintenance of school vehicles by scheduling regular and as-needed maintenance and keeping licenses current
Maintain state and federal training requirements
Access and manage confidential student/family income information
Actively partner with Minneapolis Public Schools to make sure all students have access to educational benefits
Utilize MN State accounting interface to ensure maximum federal reimbursement
Organizing and maintaining point of sale compliance, staffing and meal safe storage
Maintaining city health department standards and certificate requirements
Order, accept, account for and report on all student transportation materials received from Metro Transit via Minneapolis Public Schools
Process all invoices, purchase orders, visa reports, stipends, checks and vendor approvals whether regular or incidental in a timeline supplied by VOAMN finance department
Complete reimbursements and purchasing documents for VOA High School
Order and distribute office supplies, printing paper, teacher requested materials and manage budget associated with materials
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of similar work experience
Ability to work with a diverse population of individuals by using tact diplomacy and flexibility
Preferred
Preferred experience in fiscal services, administration, and human resources
Bilingual: Spanish preferred
