Responsibilities
Prepare proposals and estimate work, review contract language, prepare subconsultant agreements
Prepare/direct preparation of Tentative and Final Maps, ALTA Survey Plats, Records of Survey and Corner Records, Legal Descriptions and Plats, Topographic and boundary surveys, and various other exhibits in AutoCAD Civil 3D from field data, record maps, and deeds
Quality control and quality assurance
Manage office staff and field crews
Maintain schedules and budgets
Review billings
Assist the Management Team with business development - Public/private sectors, marketing and winning work, maintaining sales target
Client care

Employee mentoring/support, training, and evaluations
Departmental leadership
Assist with hiring, retention, and performance improvement
Other administrative items including time sheet review, company standards and procedures, etc
Qualification
Required
12+ years of demonstrated surveying and project management experience
California Land Surveyor License
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients
