Responsibilities
Apply electronic theory to test, troubleshoot, inspect, modify, overhaul, and repair avionics LRUs down to the circuit board level in a shop environment
Work collaboratively within a team to meet quality, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals
Follow established procedures and accurately interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Evaluate electrical, thermal, and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, subcomponents, and systems
Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions in partnership with cross-functional teams
Accurately record all activities using company software systems
Utilize the Business Management System (BMS) to follow established company and departmental processes
Demonstrate a working knowledge of industry terminology and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field; equivalent military training or relevant work experience will be considered
Minimum of 2 years' experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documents
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment
Familiarity with automated test systems and data acquisition tools
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuitry, including component-level troubleshooting
Knowledge of ESD handling procedures and IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721) preferred
Experience in ISO 9001, AS9100, or other regulated quality environments preferred
Familiarity with FAA Part 145 repair station regulations is a plus
Experience using ERP systems and strong documentation skills preferred
Customer service experience beneficial
