Moore & Van Allen PLLC is a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to join its Charleston, SC office. This role provides administrative support to attorneys on the Commercial Real Estate team and assists with the Trusts & Estates team, handling various legal documentation and client correspondence.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include time entry, billing, preparing correspondence with clients, external counsel, courts and court administration, proofreading, formatting and preparing multi-state and federal legal filings, filing legal documents (including e-filing), docket management, making travel arrangements, assisting with scheduling/calendar, assisting with discovery including document production, etc

This position will also assist our Trusts & Estates team with tasks including drafting and/or preparing powers of attorney, deeds, probate filings and other documents as requested

Required

High school diploma or the equivalent required

4 year degree preferred

At least 1-2 years of legal experience

Professional demeanor to work well with all levels of staff attorneys and clients

Ability and willingness to work well under pressure
