They are seeking a Tooling & Fabrication Technician responsible for providing tooling support to manufacturing, including various machining and fabrication processes while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
Blueprint reading and processing
Operation of CNC Mill, Surfcam, table saw, radial arm saw, band saw, drill press, sanders, planer, joiner, aluminum/steel welders, plasma cutter and various hand tools
Documents actions by logging mandrels, jigs and check fixtures as they process through the department
Track modifications made to repair mandrels, jigs and fixtures
Works for continuous improvement in all processes to maximize efficiency
Work closely with production, customer service and engineering to meet business needs
Attendance is an essential function of this position. The employee must have regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. The employee must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime before & after regular hours & shifts, as well as weekends

Qualification
Required
Communication skills: verbal, written, listening and understanding
Skilled in welding and fabrication work
Experience with Problem Solving, Standard Work, Specification Interpretation and Product functionality
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong team player: proactively able to step in to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all functions, builds collaborative relationships
