Senior Accountant - Fathers and Families Center
Eskenazi Health serves as the public hospital division of the Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County, providing a comprehensive range of primary and specialty care services. The Sr. Staff Accountant plays a key leadership role in overseeing the organization’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with grant requirements and non-profit accounting standards.

Responsibilities
Day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports as directed by the Controller
Ensure accurate and compliant tracking, reporting, and invoicing of all government and private grants
Collaborate with program staff to monitor budgets, manage grant allocations, and prepare financial reports for funders
Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
Coordinate the annual audit process and serve as a liaison with external auditors
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of progressive non-profit accounting experience, including experience with grant management and fund accounting
Strong proficiency in SAGE Intacct is required
Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations and reporting requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Commitment to the mission of Fathers and Families Center and a collaborative working style
