Magellan Aerospace is a global aerospace company that provides complex assemblies and systems solutions. They are seeking a Welder who will be responsible for welding parts according to work instructions and ensuring all tools are calibrated and in good working order.

Responsibilities

Represents ENA in a professional manner

Follows policies and procedures established by Euravia North America, ENA Repair Station Manual, ENA Quality Control Manual, FAR’s, Quality Assurance Manager and Chief of Engineering

Welds parts in accordance with work instructions, standard operating procedures, approved technical data and authority roster qualification

Follows work instructions carefully

Carries out operations IAW job instructions and approved documentation provided; ensuring all previous operations have been completed, signed or stamped off before commencement

Ensures completed work is stamped off or signed as instructed

Uses fixtures, measuring and gauging tools when required

Ensures all tools used are calibrated (if required) and in good working order

Understands blueprints, company manuals, and written and verbal instructions

Follows written and verbal instructions

Ability to relate to others in a courteous manner

Ability to learn and adapt to varied work assignments

Possesses the practical and technical knowledge required to perform assigned responsibilities

Ability to demonstrate proper judgment and decision making skills when necessary

Ability to perform work with little or no supervision

Ability to produce a significant volume of work efficiently in a specified period of time

Ability to produce results with a minimum amount of rework

Demonstrates a willingness to accept other duties as assigned

A High School Diploma (or equivalent) is desired

Trained and qualified to weld IAW approved tests results
