This role involves designing, testing, and optimizing Monnit's sensors and communication modules, providing strong exposure to IoT device development and embedded system design.

Responsibilities

Firmware testing and validation for new and existing Monnit products

Hardware characterization and troubleshooting, ensuring reliable sensor performance

Collaborating on schematic design reviews and assisting in PCB layout and verification

Implementing firmware updates and testing new features in C, C#, or Python

Participating in daily team planning meetings and sprint reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

1+ years of hands-on experience through internships, senior projects, or lab work

Working knowledge of Firmware development: C, C#, Python, or JavaScript

Working knowledge of Hardware design: schematic capture and PCB layout (KiCad experience preferred)

Working knowledge of Debugging tools: oscilloscopes, multimeters, or logic analyzers

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate technical ideas clearly
