Responsibilities
Own end-to-end architecture/design for enterprise APIs and microservices
Define API standards (specs, versioning, auth, error budgets) and governance
Build React/Angular frontends and Node/Java/Python backends; automate tests
Implement CI/CD, containerization, and IaC; maintain traceability and ADRs
Establish synthetic monitoring and SLOs; drive weekly performance dashboards
Coordinate readiness reviews, Section 508 documentation, and operational handoffs
Qualification
Required
7+ years full-stack engineering, including React/Angular and Node.js/Java/Python
Hands-on microservices with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift
API design with REST/GraphQL/gRPC; OAuth2/JWT; rate limiting; pagination
Observability: Datadog/New Relic/Prometheus; distributed tracing
CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), automated testing (Jest/pytest/Postman)
Preferred
