Responsibilities

Conducting fact investigations

Leading discovery efforts, including handling substantial ESI productions in high-stakes cases

Preparing witnesses and parties for depositions and conducting thorough deposition preparation, as well as taking and defending depositions

Drafting, opposing, and arguing dispositive motions and discovery-related motions

Effectively communicating and building relationships with clients, opposing counsel, witnesses, court personnel, and other stakeholders

Contributing substantively to case strategy, collaborating on litigation decisions, and executing on agreed-upon plans

Required

5+ years of relevant substantive experience in employment litigation

Admission to practice in New York state and federal courts

Experience managing complex litigation processes, including discovery, depositions and motion practice

First rate writing and research abilities

Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills

Ability to think strategically, multitask effectively, work efficiently, and maintain a client-first mindset

Preferred

Admission to practice in New Jersey and/or Connecticut

A demonstrated desire to build a career in management-side employment litigation

Comfort proposing and effectively executing litigation strategies
