Assistant Regional Director of Home Study and Post Release Services

Cayuga Centers is an accredited non-profit, human services agency dedicated to family support and preservation. The Assistant Regional Director will oversee a team of Case Managers, guiding and training them to assist unaccompanied children and their families in navigating their transition from ORR care to their communities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate a team that will provide evidence-based interventions and solution-focused work when working with families in the community
Onboard, train, coach, mentor, and supervise the Case Managers within the region
Ensure staff comply with agency and regulatory policies and procedures
Assist staff in managing crises that may arise on their caseloads
Perform a variety of administrative or executive support tasks, such as trend/quarterly reports that are confidential
Conduct weekly audits to ensure all assessments, reports, and team case notes are current in the hardcopy and electronic file
Ensure Case Managers meet all deadlines required by ORR, state licensing, and federal partners
Perform other duties as assigned/requested by the Regional Director, the Vice President of HS/PRS, Assistant Vice President, Senior and Executive leadership, or the Deputy for Federal Programs

Required

Master's degree in related field required
Three years of relevant, progressive experience required
Experience conducting home studies required
Experience working with immigrant populations required
Knowledge of local community social services required
Strong administrative experience
Knowledge of family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare
Excellent organization skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlooks, and Teams applications
Ability to work well with people from many culture, non-English speakers, and LGBTQ children
Bilingual in English/Spanish - required
All agency documents and record are in English, so English writing proficiency is required
Valid driver's license in a state location within the assigned region and personal, reliable vehicle to conduct tasks/assignments - required
Ability to travel domestically for work-related matters
Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends - required
24/7 on call support required
Travel outside of work hours to various hubs
