Nexus Nord is seeking a Finance Operations & Investment Banking Associate to support financial operations, capital strategy, and investor engagement initiatives. The role involves managing finance operations, supporting capital raising activities, and working closely with senior leadership on financial planning and investor communications.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize day-to-day finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Monitor cash flows, working capital, and financial controls
Support compliance, audit readiness, and internal financial governance
Coordinate with external vendors, accounting firms, and financial partners
Build and maintain financial models (3-statement models, projections, sensitivity analysis)
Support capital raising activities, including equity, debt, and structured financing
Assist in preparing pitch decks, investment memos, and offering materials
Conduct financial due diligence and valuation analysis
Participate in investor calls, meetings, and presentations
Support preparation of investor updates, performance reports, and data rooms
Help manage inbound investor queries and follow-ups
Coordinate with legal and advisory teams during fundraising processes

Required

MBA in Finance or equivalent postgraduate degree
3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Structured Finance
3+ years of experience in Finance Operations, FP&A, or Financial Strategy
Strong expertise in Financial modeling and valuation
Excel / Google Sheets (advanced level)
PowerPoint / investor presentation materials
Strong analytical, communication, and execution skills

Preferred

Prior experience interacting with investors, VCs, PE firms, or institutional lenders
Experience supporting fundraising or M&A transactions
Exposure to fintech, financial services, or capital markets
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations
