Responsibilities
Support company goals and objectives
Operate various operations machinery, equipment and power tools to complete assigned tasks
Perform preventative maintenance on operations machinery and equipment, according to specifications
Perform troubleshooting on operations machinery and equipment to determine cause of failure and fixes problem
Fabricate and repairs simple production tooling, equipment and various projects
Maintain overall site facilities
Perform special assignments assigned by supervisors. Lead role may supervise lower level non-exempt or temporary workers
As a Lead, acts as an extension of the Supervisor and carries out duties and responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor
Understand Mizuho OSI’s business objectives and the relationship between the Department and those objectives; to support and follow the Corporate Vision, Mission & Values Statements, to maintain the services and quality levels set by Mizuho OSI, and to continually enable Mizuho OSI to be a great place to work
Understand, follow and support Mizuho OSI’s internal Quality System policies, procedures and work instructions including but not limited to applicable external regulations (21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 820 Quality System Regulations and applicable International Standards)
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent. Requires some directly related experience
Basic knowledge of blueprints and mathematics
Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Basic working knowledge of machine tools, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, welding, hand tools, troubleshooting
Flexibility to be on call 24/7 for emergency situations is required
Ability to work safely and according to OSHA safety regulations
