Collaborative Support Programs of NJ is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Wellness Respite staff and manage daily activities of the program. The role involves ensuring adequate coverage for events and providing services that align with the agency's mission to support individuals with psychiatric disabilities in crisis.

Responsibilities

Provide daily structure and supervision for the Wellness Respite staff

Direct the team's and the program’s daily activities to ensure adequate coverage of all scheduled events, appointments, and commitments

Supervise the service team to ensure guests are receiving services geared toward learning crisis coping skills and linking to community resources

Work as part of a team to provide services to guests that are consistent with the agency’s mission, vision, values, Psychiatric Rehabilitation principles, and the concept of wellness and recovery

Required

Master's degree in Mental Health Related field and 2 years of relevant work experience

1+ years of supervisory experience

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage crises

Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies

Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, conflict resolution skills and foster teamwork

Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner

Proficient in MS Office products

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Preferred

Bilingual skills are preferred/ a plus

Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation model preferred
