Accounting Manager, Carrollton (ONLY 2 days/week in office)
LHH is working with a service company in the Carrollton area that is seeking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. The role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, managing accounting staff, and ensuring compliance with GAAP across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple locations/entities
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all locations
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Ensure consistent application of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Support budgeting and forecasting in partnership with FP&A and operations
Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
Identify and implement process improvements to scale accounting operations
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff across locations
Partner with operations and leadership to support location-level performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA is required
5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Prior experience supporting multi-location, multi-entity, or distributed operations
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
ERP system experience; multi-location ERP exposure preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Multi-entity and Multi-location experience is a plus
