New Grad, Entry Level12Stone Church is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Staff Accountant. The role involves managing donor platforms, processing contributions, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and donor correspondence.

Manage Donor Platforms/Donation Records
Lead Weekly Count Team Process
Process Weekly Contributions (Cash/Check/Online)
Process Other Contribution Types (Missions/Stock/etc.) as Needed
Work with Finance Team to post Contributions to Finance Platform
Work with Finance Team to reconcile Donor Platform to Finance Platform
Record Adjustments to Donor Accounts
Prepare Donor Correspondence Related to Non-Cash Contribution Acknowledgements
Research & Respond to Donor Inquires (Calls/Email Support)
Prepare Summary, Forecast, and Contribution Reports for Management
Own Annual Donor Contribution Statement Process
Assist with Annual Audit Planning and Preparation
Assist Finance Team with Special Events
Provide Support and Guidance to Finance Team and 12Stone Staff as needed
Qualification
Required
Must Have Ability to Maintain Strict Confidentiality
Expert Excel user (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Vlookup) and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Interpersonal, Oral & Written Communication Skills
Must Be Able to Identify Issues, Prioritize Tasks, and Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously While Adhering to Strict Deadlines
Must Possess a Positive Attitude and Professional Image
Consent to a Criminal Background and Personal Credit Check
Preferred
Not-For-Profit Accounting Experience Preferred, But Not Required
Experience Leading Teams (Staff or Volunteer) Preferred, But Not Required
