Responsibilities
Oversee and perform maintenance on residential HVAC systems (10+ years old), plumbing, appliances, and electrical systems
Manage unit turnovers: inspect, scope, repair, and prepare units for new tenants
Complete daily work orders using a property management system (e.g., Yardi or AppFolio)
Maintain accurate logs of time, materials, receipts, and before/after photos
Communicate professionally with residents and team members
Submit weekly maintenance reports to the management team
Ensure safety and quality standards are met on all maintenance projects
Qualification
Required
Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
Experience overseeing and performing maintenance on residential HVAC systems (10+ years old)
Ability to manage unit turnovers: inspect, scope, repair, and prepare units for new tenants
Experience completing daily work orders using a property management system (e.g., Yardi or AppFolio)
Ability to maintain accurate logs of time, materials, receipts, and before/after photos
Professional communication skills with residents and team members
Experience submitting weekly maintenance reports to the management team
Knowledge of safety and quality standards on all maintenance projects
Experience with troubleshooting, full system repairs, and replacements for HVAC systems
Experience with installation and repair of appliances such as stoves, refrigerators, washers/dryers, microwaves
Experience with repairs and replacements for plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, valves, water heaters, disposals
Experience with electrical work including fixtures, fans, switches, receptacles, and appliance wiring
Experience with general maintenance tasks such as drywall, touch-up painting, carpentry, and make-readies
