Administrative Support Assistant III
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Full-time Administrative Support Assistant III position. The role involves providing administrative support to the Director of the Psychiatric Institute Residents clinic, ensuring the efficient functioning of a clinic that offers psychiatric treatment to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
Perform administrative/clerical tasks (examples include preparing materials for classes, interacting with technology departments, maintaining director’s schedule and duties related to large amounts of sensitive clinical information)
Coordinate and prepare for all new patient evaluations conducted by residents,(notify patients of appointment dates and time and directions help manage the electronic medical record input for intakes)
Assist the clinic Director with overseeing the recruitment and screening of patients accepted for treatment in the clinic, assisting with preparing for and coordinating courses that Director teaches to residents
Assisting with ensuring a safe handoff of patients between incoming and outgoing residents each June Assisting with orienting a new class of residents to the Clinic each July
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree
Administrative skills including (1) year work experience: typing, using spreadsheets, managing a calendar
(1) year of academic or work experience in a mental health field, psychiatry or psychology
(1) year work experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred
Minimum (1) year of administrative work experience
Minimum (1) year work experience with interacting with an electronic medical record
Minimum (1) year work experience in health care and/or mental health care setting
