Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a Network/Electrical Validation Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will shadow validation engineers, capture logs, prepare vehicles for validation, and support test vehicle preparation while providing weekly reports.

Responsibilities

Shadowing validation engineers in different electronic areas

Capturing logs and Reporting any issues found during validation

Preparing vehicles for validation- Acquiring Vehicle, Software Updates of ECU’s, Server Readiness and test environment readiness

Provide a plan & schedule evaluations with suppliers, and HATCI team

Participate in or conduct competitive vehicle benchmarking activities

Supporting preparation of test vehicles

Provide weekly reports

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields

Ability to analyze the performance of the CAN/Ethernet bus

Basic understanding in Bus wake/sleep performance, bus load analysis, bus message integrity

Excellent communicator, proficient in PowerPoint and emailing and reporting out issues
